The firm advises and carries out on a day-to-day basis necessary due diligence, title search / verification and issues certificates vis-à-vis the title of properties as well as give legal scrutiny report/s on the title of the properties to various persons, companies, financial institutions, Banks and real estate companies. Arbitration and Conciliation

The firm advises and consults on various issues and matters arising under the Electricity Act and Rules framed thereunder, including making representations before various authorities and tribunals, including MERC, APTEL, and before various courts of law, including the High Courts and Supreme Court of India.

Marine / Shipping

The firm advises and is successfully engaged in various matters / disputes relating to marine and / or shipping law including admiralty proceedings in the various courts of India as well as international courts of law.

The firm advises companies, industry associations and trade chambers on merger flings and clearances, cartels and other behavioural investigations by the CCI and is also (capable of) engaging in litigation before the appellate tribunal and various other courts.

Capital Markets, Banking and Corporate Finance

The Firm advises on debt, equity and equity-linked offerings of securities, domestic offerings such as initial public offerings (IPOs), international offerings such as global depository receipts (GDRs) and American depository receipts (ADRs), securities law, structured products and financial institutions’ regulation, futures, derivatives and ISDA agreements, mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, securities’ transactions and regulatory issues in respect thereof.

Intellectual Property Law

The firm handles law pertaining to copyrights, designs, patents and trademarks, and prepares documentation relating to the same, such as franchising, licensing agreements, assignments, distribution, music, broadcast, satellite, digital rights, marketing rights, etc. and also handle disputes in the media and entertainment sector. We also provide services at the international level such as transfer of intellectual property rights from one country to another as well as amongst convention signatory countries of the World Trade Organization under the Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights Agreement (TRIPS).
